The Impact of Diversity on Neuropsychological Assessment (INS-Symposium)

Sanne Franzen & Collegues | Erasmus University Medical Center | The Netherlands

The European Consortium on Cross-Cultural Neuropsychology, founded in 2019, is a collaborative initiative comprising over 30 members from across Europe. The consortium focuses on the development of widely applicable neuropsychological tests, improving the measurement of diversity in research and clinical practice, and enhancing the training of clinicians and the use of interpreters. The overall goal of the consortium is to enhance cross-cultural neuropsychology across Europe. Since its establishment, the consortium has published two influential position papers: one outlining future directions for cross-cultural neuropsychology and another addressing the challenges and solutions in interpreter-mediated assessment.
