Welcome note

Welcome to the Joint Meeting of FESN and GNP in Leipzig,

Dear Colleagues,

We are delighted to welcome you to our joint meeting, the 9th Scientific Meeting of the Federation of the European Societies of Neuropsychology (FESN) and the 40th Annual Meeting of the German Neuropsychological Society (GNP) in the vibrant city of Leipzig!

Leipzig, situated in the heart of Europe, is an ideal location for our conference. It has always been a hub where diverse ideas and cultures intersect. It was in Leipzig that the peaceful revolution culminated, bringing Eastern and Western Europe closer together. We aim to bring together clinicians, researchers, and students from all over Europe and beyond, to discuss the latest research and their significance for the future of neuropsychology.

We are excited to present a diverse and stimulating programme, featuring world-class researchers presenting new data on scientific topics relevant to neuropsychology and to related fields to both research and clinical practice. The conference will offer four Keynote Lectures and various Invited Symposia. A longstanding tradition of our conference is the scientific debate, and we are looking forward to this entertaining and insightful format.

The programme covers a diverse range of topics - from cutting-edge insights into neuroanatomical frameworks and advanced psychometric network analyses to state-of-the-science applications of transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) and interdisciplinary approaches to digitalization -culminating in innovative approaches to neuropsychological assessment and therapy.

However, what is a conference without its participants? We invite you, neuropsychologists, neuroscientists and neurologists from all over Europe and beyond, come to Leipzig to FESN-GNP 2025 conference, contribute to the exchange of knowledge and return home with inspiring ideas.

Looking forward to seeing you in Leipzig
