The language of the presentations (slides and lecture) is English.
Speech time
Please prepare your contribution in such a way that you meet the provided time slots. The chairpersons are asked to avoid any overruns.
Media check-in
There will be a central presentation reception where you can check your presentation and edit it if necessary. Free internet access will be available there.Hand in your presentation at least 1 hour before your session.
Poster
Please bring your poster printed in portrait format, max. A0.
Poster boards and fasteners will be provided on site.
How to Participate in the poster award
We invite all poster presenters to take part in this year’s poster award!
To participate, please follow these steps:
- Prepare your poster. Create a scientific poster based on your accepted abstract. Please follow the formatting guidelines provided in your acceptance email.
- Create a Conventus account via the following portal
- Submit your poster online. Upload a digital version (PDF format) of your poster using the online submission portal (Upload Center)
- Display your poster on-site. Bring a printed version of your poster to the conference and display it at the designated poster area.
- Be present during the poster session
Make sure to be available at your poster during the scheduled session to discuss your work with attendees and the jury.
All posters submitted online and presented on-site will be automatically considered for the Poster Award. Winners will be selected by a scientific jury.

- Go to the registration portal (Upload Center) here
- Log in with the credentials you created to access the Upload Center.
- Verify your registration using your verification code.
If you submitted multiple abstracts, you may have received this code more than once. However, the code is the same for all your submissions. Please verify your registration only once. - Upload your submission(s) under the section titled “Presentation file upload.”
- Finally, confirm your upload by clicking the “Submit presentation” button.
Technical specifications for presentation
PDF and PowerPoint presentations (Office 2016) in landscape format (16:9) are permitted for your presentation. Please use standard formats (avi, wmv, mpg) for video or audio files and bring these as separate files to the media check-in. When using video sequences, please ensure that the CODEC required for playback is supplied.
NEW: For ecological reasons, we are dispensing with printed speaker's badges on the lectern. Therefore, please include your name on the start slide or at best as a footer in your presentation. Thank you very much!
Please hand in your presentation in time (preferably the day before but not later than 2 hours before your presentation time) at the media check-in. Please use media with a USB connection to hand in your presentation. If you use a USB stick as a storage medium, please do not protect it with software.
It is possible to test the presentation and edit it if necessary. In the lecture theatre you will find a lectern with a laptop, a remote control for your presentation and a laser pointer. If you wish to use non-digital media, please contact us in any case.
Disclosure of conflicts of interest
In accordance with international standards on the necessary transparency of potential conflicts of interest (COI), we ask you to disclose your business, personal and/or material relationships with industrial companies, consulting companies or funding organisations or sponsors of medical institutions in the context of your engagement.
For a presentation, please include the relevant declaration on a separate slide before your presentation!
